MANGGAGAMOT AWARDS

The Philippine Medical Association is proud to present you with this award in recognition of the invaluable and exemplary influence you have exerted on the members of the PMA and on the Association.

We realize the importance of encouraging in future generations the desire for pursuing lives dedicated to the principle of serving those of our fellowmen who suffer from bodily and mental ailments and personifying what it means to be a Filipino doctor in its most ideal form, that of the compassionate man of faith whose every attempt at healing is tempered by the knowledge of death’s inevitability, elevated by the realization of what each sincere attempt is worth, not merely in the eyes of men but most importantly in the eyes of our Creator, and fortified in the consecrating force of this awareness.

You have exemplified these ideals not only by your career, but also by the manner in which you have comported yourself in relation to others, and the strength of character that emanates, not just from words spoken, but more importantly, from lives lived day in and out and consistently in every circumstance.

This award is our attempt at expressing our gratitude for all this and more, as every great story reader knows, for words are inadequate in all attempts at describing all essential things.
